One of the biggest stories this week was the release of the PWC report which uncovered the underestimation of the real cost of the National Children’s Hospital.

Up until now, the project at St James’ has cost €1.7bn, and is only rising.

Martin Conroy is a consultant, was part of the team who looked at the building in DCU, and has huge experience when it comes to looking at the costs of these sorts of builds.

He told Ivan why drastic steps are needed and why, among other things, the Board needs to be disbanded.
