It was once a popular way for nursery teachers to discipline misbehaving toddlers.  

But over in the UK the “naughty step” is becoming a thing of the past, with nurseries saying that they no longer use the term due to its “negative connotations”.

Ivan says he's old school when it comes to discipline, and is not a fan of getting rid of the word 'naughty', despite the moves in the UK.
