Architect and Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture in UCD Orla Hegarty wants to see an NCT style system put in place for housing, in order to safeguard residents against safety risks.

A house is also a large investment, so could knowing all the issues from a regulatory body be useful?

Ivan is skeptical, particularly as to how all of this would be paid for.
