You might remember last month on The Hard Shoulder, Ivan was joined by Lesley Anne Stephens who was speaking out about the decision by government to rule out a redress scheme for women injured after receiving vaginal mesh implants. 

After hearing the interview someone generously paid for Lesley to go over to America to meet with a specialist doctor. 

She joined Ivan on this evening's edition of the Hard Shoulder to tell him more about her visit to America and a meeting that she attended on Monday afternoon with Minister for Health Simon Harris
