In the Central Bank’s final report on its Tracker Mortgage Examination, it says that a total of €683m has been paid in redress, compensation and costs to over 40,000 customers.
This is up from just under 40,000 in February.
The five main lenders accounted for 98% of accounts affected by the tracker scandal.
