A cross-departmental housing taskforce has been set up to figure out where to house Ukrainian refugees long-term. Under plans being considered by the Government in light of the Ukraine and housing crises, a programme has also been set up to bring vacant properties back into use.

Builders will also be able to extend their hours of operation in order to ramp up housing production.
