Along with the impending health crisis caused by Covid 19 there was an alarm sounded by the ESRI, which said in its quarterly bulletin that the economy could shrink by as much as 7% and unemployment could hit 18%, with over 350,000 people losing their livelihoods.

ESRI chief executive, Professor Alan Barrett and David McWilliams, economist, broadcaster and presenter of the David McWilliams podcast joined Ivan to discuss what affect this pandemic will have on our economy.
