Fathers who wish to have extensive access to their kids face an “uphill battle” unless they have agreement of their spouse or the backing of experts.

Shared 50/50 parenting is not widespread and there are questions as to whether the rights of father were being protected within the family law system.

Chair of the Law Society’s Family and Child Law Committee Keith Walsh told Ivan what is going on.
