A rescue package has been announced by the Government for the FAI.

Their Sport Ireland funding of 2.9 million has been restored after being pulled in April.  This will double to 5.8 million per year from here to 2023.

The Government will also provide an interest free loan of 2.5 million each year from 2020 to 2022 - payable to Aviva Stadium operations company.
