Today is World Cancer Day, and the aim of the day as always is to spread awareness, inspire change and to reduce the impact of cancer.

But one year into the pandemic and Covid-19 is having a huge impact on cancer treatment and research.

50% of governments around the world have had cancer services partially or completely disrupted because of the pandemic, and it’s certainly no different here in Ireland.
