The ruling Conservatives have been decimated in the European Elections, with Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party winning 33% of the vote.

The Conservatives garnered just 9% of the vote in England and Wales, and look to be on course for their worst ever national election share.

And the news isn’t much better for the Labour Party, who could only take 15%.

Gwythian Prins, Emeritus Professor and the London School of Economics told Ivan why this win for the Brexit Party may not translate to power in European Parliament, as he fears a Federal leaning Left will push through plans for a Federal State of Europe.
