"Social partnership gave certainty..."

Ibec has said that "expensive housing, long commutes and stretched health and education systems" are making Ireland a less attractive place in which to live, work and invest.

While being generally positive about the economy, IBEC are warning that these three things need to be focused on by the next Government in order to keep things going.

Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern gave his view - particularly on the issue IBEC raise about the need for 'social dialogue', and Kevin Cullinan, general secretary of Forsa, gave the union's perspective.
