Sport Ireland has said today the FAI "did not sufficiently explain" the circumstances of the €100,000 loan from FAI Chief Executive John Delaney to the association.

It’s as the organisation is before the Oireachtas Transport, Tourism and Sport Committee on Wednesday afternoon.

So what happened, and did we get any answers to some pertinent questions?
