Introducing restrictions on short-term accommodation could cost the tourism industry €506 million a year, Airbnb has claimed.The online room booking service has said that 83,000 nights spent by tourists in Dublin would be at risk if short-term let providers were limited to renting their property for a maximum of 90 days a year, as recommended by the Oireachtas housing committee.
