One in five teenage boys does not believe it is always necessary to get consent before engaging in sexual activity. That is according to a new study by NUI Galway’s Active Consent programme. 

It surveyed 600 students aged between 15 and 17 years of age and the results show the difference in perception of consent among males and females.
