Des O’Malley, founder of the Progressive Democrats, died in July last year, and it’s fair to say his impact on Irish political life was huge.

His son, Eoin O’Malley, social scientist in the School of Law and Government at Dublin City University has been going through his Government papers, and they reveal a lot about public life through the years. Eoin joined Kieran to talk about some of the finds in the papers
