Research has suggested that supermarket layouts are designed to make us fat.

A study by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) found that sweets, crisps and other unhealthy foods were placed far more prominently than other products

The research found that nine in ten products on display at eye level were unhealthy.

Bobby Kerr was joined on the Hard Shoulder by Damien O’Reilly, senior lecturer in Retail Management in DIT, and retail consultant Eddie Shanahan.
