Ivan called it how he saw it, as Fianna Fail TDs Lisa Chambers, Timmy Dooley, Niall Collins and Barry Cowen apologised for their roles in VoteGate.

A Dáil report into last week's Vote Gate scandal has found that new sanctions, including suspending members for abusing their vote, must now be considered. 

The report says the rules governing votes should be amended to cover instances where members “abuse their privilege”.
