The first night of the US Republican party convention was held last night amid concerns that President Donald Trump has an uphill battle to win re-election in November.

The night included speeches from the president himself, though his big showpiece speech is due later in the week- along with his family and some of his most ardent supporters. Still, the controversy over mail-in voting reared its head in the President’s speech last night. 

Mark Cagney was joined by Michael Graham, Managing Editor of Inside Sources, with his analysis on the election campaign.
