US President Donald Trump has announced that he has had “lengthy and highly productive phone call” with Vladimir Putin and agreed to work “closely” to possibly see a diplomatic end to the war. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has also announced that he has had a similar call with Trump.
