The new CEO of the Parole Board spoke to Pat Kenny a little earlier in the week. Ciairín de Buis now heads up a panel of 14 members who will review the applications of 191 murderers who are currently eligible for parole. It’s the first time a statutory board will make these decisions and ultimately decide when a convicted killer is released. But how do the victims’ families feel about this?
