Newstalk’s 20 most influential moments of the past two decades continued on Tuesday, as the station looked at the election of Donald Trump as US President.

Author Lee Smith told Kieran about his views on the Trump presidency & how what we’ve seen in the last four years is a struggle to hold down Trump in order to have someone come in after to complete Obama’s policies.

He believes this is the struggle that we’ve seen unfolding the last four years between a very traditional view of America versus a very different view of what America should be.
