Newstalk's political correspondent Sean Defoe joined Ivan this evening to look at the numbers and get a sense from the consituency of Dublin Midwest ahead of the by-election in that area.
At the 2016 election Sinn Féin’s Eoin O’Broin topped the poll closely followed by Fine Gael’s Frances Fitzgerald. They were both elected on the first count. Fianna Fáil’s John Curran and People Before Profit TD Gino Kenny took the third and fourth seats.
