Almost every town across the country is affected by vacant buildings.
Large closed down properties, lying idle, and, in some cases, becoming eyesores, which could help ease the housing crisis.
In Tipperary, it's estimated there are possibly up to 3,000 vacant dwellings. Work is now underway to identify them all and try to bring some of them back into the housing market.
Our reporter Josh Crosbie travelled throughout the county speaking with locals about the issue.
