Supporting Irish businesses is vital this year, so in the lead up to Christmas Newstalk is featuring different local businesses around the country from a variety of sectors. Pat Kenny chats with Sarah Walsh, Owner of Baba box to hear about her business.
Baba Box is a small Irish business specialising in baby gifts, gifts for new mums, mums-to-be and baby shower gifts.
Owner Sarah Walsh got inspiration for the business idea when she had her baby Ted in 2016.
Over the course of Ted’s first year, she quickly learnt about the changing needs of babies during those early months and felt maternity leave seemed like the perfect time to start a new project, and with that Baba Box was born.
So how does it work? Each Baba Box contains a curated selection of independently produced mum and baby treats straight to their door.
All of the gifts boxes are gender neutral and age appropriate and Baba Box supports homegrown Irish and independent European brands
