Since 2010 Ireland's traffic has doubled. On Friday we heard how they keep the M50 moving, today we meet the men and women behind Ireland's motorway network.
Why do they charge €10 at peak times to use the Port Tunnel, will they bring in rolling speed limits and could speed cameras on the M50 become the norm? Will Brexit mean the Port Tunnel closes to control lorry traffic. We find out how the experts plan the future of our traffic jams using 65 quality CCTV cameras and sensors.
Henry McKean sent us this report during rush hour and got unprecedented access inside Ireland's Motorway Traffic Control Centre, based at Dublin's Port Tunnel.
