Children as young as six are diagnosed with diabetes and it has a direct link with increasing obesity. These are results of research conducted by scientists at Maynooth University.  

Andrew Hogan – researcher at Maynooth University at the Institute of Human Health Research and Department of Biology joined Pat on the show to discuss more about these findings.
