Baking has been in Sian McCann’s family for generations, this is where the inspiration to create Wild Fuchsia Bakehouse stemmed from.
Located in Donegal, the Bakehouse relies heavily on tourists, so when Covid struck it forced them to get creative.
While the shop is closed, they diversified in to selling hampers online.
The Bakehouse has won four taste awards, and Covid has given them more time to enter more competitions.
Some of her most popular products include the stout bread, soda bread and the sticky gingerbread, this one is only available in the shop.
All the baking is done in three ovens right in front of the customers, and dry mixes are available to purchase at the bakery too, to allow customers recreate it themselves at home.
