It was this day 2 months ago that a major earthquake struck Turkey and Syria causing devastating damage sparking one of the biggest humanitarian crisis ever seen.

Tens of thousands have died, millions have lost their homes and some cities in the region have been left almost uninhabitable.

Unicef is aiming to work with 3 million people affected by the earthquake and our own Ciara Kelly has travelled to Turkey to see some of the work being done.
