How green is Ireland? And are people becoming more environmentally aware?

Ireland's performance on climate action in response to global warming has been ranked as the worst in the EU. According to the Climate Change Performance Index our performance in the greenhouse gas emissions category is rated "very low" and the country is also lowly ranked in the "energy use" category.

But are more and more people becoming aware of this, and our they trying to do more themselves to tackle climate change?
