The Pearson Collection of architectural artefacts comprises many interesting and beautiful items saved from demolished houses and buildings in Dublin and elsewhere in Ireland. Remarkable objects such as decorative plasterwork, ironwork and timber details reflect the skill of Ireland’s Georgian and Victorian craftsmen. Elegant fanlights, coloured tiles, iron and brass locks and shopfront details record a lost heritage - much of it swept away in the 1970s and 1980s.
