In advance of the Bray Air Display we received an email to ChallengeHenry@Newstalk.com asking Henry to become an aerobatic pilot.
Henry “Goose” McKean boarded an Irish Air Corps Pilatus PC9 aircraft at Casement Aerodrome and he joins us now.
Henry took the ‘highway to the danger zone’ or the M7 to Casement Aerodrome.
Henry experienced an aerobatic formation flight complete with loops, barrel rolls and half clovers, pulling upwards of 4G, or 4 times as heavy, with the Irish Air Corps in the skies above Co. Kildare, followed by a fly-past above Dublin City and the River Liffey at just 1,000 feet.
The Irish Air Corps will be taking part in the 14th annual, award winning Bray Air Display, described as one of the finest air displays in Europe, on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July 2019.
