Recently on the Pat Kenny Show we spoke to Isabelle Flanagan who is doing the Leaving Cert but has unreliable broadband in Castlerea. We wanted to find out what it was like for Leaving Cert students with poor broadband. Henry McKean visited Longford and Cavan and asked do they feel there is a broadband rural - urban divide? Will their results suffer even more because they are at such a disadvantage?
With contributions from Eamonn Wallace from Ireland Offline who have been campaigning for rural broadband for 20 years. Des Cullen Principal of Moyne Community School in Longford and Leaving Cert students Ciara Clarke and Christian Dunne from Cavan.
