There are fears that there could be major delays in the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccination programme in parts of Co Donegal following yet another setback in supply.
the Millbrae surgery in Carndonagh had been expecting a batch of Covid-19 vaccines to arrive this week, and these vaccines were to be used to vaccinate those aged between 80-85 and those aged over 70 with underlying conditions in the local area.
However the HSE informed the surgery in Carndonagh earlier this week that they will now not be receiving any further vaccines until the end of this month.
And now the local GP is now encouraging people to get vaccinated in the North if they can.
