Last week on the Pat Kenny Show we spoke to the Baron of Dunsany whose rewilding project, the biggest in the country, is under threat from the Dublin to Navan railway line, being proposed to go through his nature reserve. His 1700 acre estate at Dunsany Castle in County Meath after 10 years is beginning to see woodpeckers and rare birds, as his ecosystem untouched by humans has started to change. Henry McKean visited the sprawling estate which has been allowed to go wild and met experts and friends of Randal Plunkett, Henry sent us this report.
