Is the service station becoming the new town square?

There’s about 1200 fuel stations in Ireland – and counting – and while all offer fuel (petrol and diesel) most will also provide snacks, hot coffee and grocery basics. However, increasingly larger motorway service stops are going beyond their original job spec, to become hubs of action and amenities for local communities. Newstalk's Sarah Madden reports.
