This week Minister Catherine Martin opened Glencullen Adventure Park's 6 new mountain biking trails. We asked Henry Mckean to go up the Dublin Mountains to 'The GAP' and check it out. Henry hasn't gone mountain biking since 1996. Let's see if Henry tries out 'The 'Bee-Line', 'The Hard Shoulder' and 'The In Stitches' Mountain Bike trail. Henry put on his helmet and jumped on a mountain bike and met Matt Davy from 'The GAP'. The six new mountain bike trails are open to the public from the 4th of September. To book a mountain bike experience in the Dublin Mountains check out thegap.ie Hopefully some of those young riders will one day represent Ireland at the Olympics in the future.
Family owned - Glencullen Adventure Park – GAP, located in the Dublin Mountains, is now Ireland’s leading Mountain Biking Facility, with over 300 acres of trails- following this huge investment by owners Matt and Georgina Davy, supported by Leader funding, will help to put both GAP and Ireland on the world mountain biking map, as professional riders have rated these new trails as world-class.
