A small, rural community in Co. Roscommon is about to celebrate the health achievements of twenty five farmers.
The men have been taking part in a six-week challenge to change their lives through diet and exercise.
The project, in the townland of Moore, is the brainchild of local volunteer, Laura Tully. Exercise physiologist Dr Diane Cooper and John Bolton from True Fitness deliver the programme.
It’s not only empowering the farmers to take charge of their own health, but the project is also having spin-off benefits, like tackling rural isolation.
