People in Dublin are in some cases waiting hours for an ambulance to come out when they've made an emergency call.

SIPTU say calls to the ambulance service have increased ten-fold in recent weeks.

Dublin paramedics are now calling for changes to the current call-out system over fears that ambulances are not reaching those who desperately need them quickly enough.
