A new study has shown that hangover severity actually decreases with age.

The paper published by Oxford University Press reveals that this was because pain sensitivity lowers with aging, meaning that hangovers ultimately decline.

So this puts a lie to the myth that hangovers get worse as we get older.

But surely this cannot be true, or reporter Barry Whyte has been finding out....
