Hundreds of people have been lining up at the Capuchin Day Centre to collect Christmas hamper vouchers.
The charity has been handing out Christmas hampers since the 1970s.
This year people are receiving a €50 Dunnes Stores voucher.
People started queuing from 5am this morning at the Capuchin Day Centre for Christmas vouchers.
More than 800 have already been handed out of an expected 3,000.
