Ahead of rare disease day on February 29th, we take a closer look at Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT). Symptoms include heavy and frequent nosebleeds, and spots (on hands, face, lips, tongue – red spots that can bleed if you press them hard). Those symptoms are a nuisance, but not life-threatening. As patients get older, they can also become anaemic.

One such patient is Dara Woods, she joins Pat to tell him her story, as does Dr. Adrian Brady, who joins us from Cork.
