The people of Cork are welcoming a number of recent announcements that aim to make the city more livable in a Reimagined Ireland.

Cork is to become home to the country's tallest building, more than €400 million is also being invested in the regeneration of parts of the city and 17 streets are being pedestrianised.

As part of our Reimagining Ireland series, we sent our reporter Josh Crosbie to find out how such largescale plans have come to fruition.

Hear from Cork City Council, Cork Business Association, business owners and locals about their views of the plans.
