Why have almost 60 school building projects been put on hold?

The Department of Education has confirmed that 58 school building projects due to go to tender or construction this year are on hold due to funding pressures. Discussing this and the possible implications was Róise Uí Labhraidh, Principal of Gaelscoil Phádraig in Ballybrack and by Chief Executive of the Educate Together school patronage body Emer Nowlan.
