The HSE is keen to stress it’s four weeks after having Covid a child is eligible for the vaccine. So those who got it over Christmas can now come forward. Estimated 100k in that group. However, the vaccine uptake is falling among 5-11 year-olds. To discuss this further Pat spoke to Sean Defoe, Newstalk Political Correspondent and also from Dr Denis McAuley, GP and Chairman of the Irish Medical Organisation’s GP Committee.
