Later today the Government will meet to discuss NPHET’s recommendation that the entire country go into lockdown for a period of six weeks in an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19
However, there are those that believe that lockdowns should be avoided at all costs.
Having set out alternatives to a lockdown, Dr Jack Lambert, a consultant specialist in infectious disease at Dublin’s Mater hospital, came under fire from Chairman of the NPHET Modelling Advisory Group, Professor Philip Nolan.
