In times of Covid-19 we are very much aware how much a disease can impact our lives. For other conditions like cancer, it can be long lasting and one of the challenges is explaining to your little ones what’s going on.

So how do we talk to our children about this? Sean Defoe was joined by systemic psychotherapist and medical social worker Yvonne O’Meara and father of two Ronan Treacy, who recently overcame throat cancer.

You can register for ARC Cancer Support Centres’ “Talking to Children About Cancer” free Zoom talk, taking place on Monday November 30 from 11am to 12 midday, by emailing info@arccancersupport.ie
