The decision to reopen Dublin’s Phoenix Park to cars has been met with dismay in some quarters but has been welcomed in others.

The gates of the park were closed in response to Covid-19 travel restrictions in March allowing pedestrians and cyclists alike to enjoy the natural beauty of the space, car-free.

To discuss the decision Eamonn Torsney was joined by Green Party MEP, Ciaran Cuffe and Conor Faughnan, Director of Consumer Affairs, AA Ireland.
