After discussing how to help the minds of our children and young people over the next few weeks and months, Susan Keogh turns to physical health. There’s been a lot of discussion about sports participation and keeping kids active on Off The Ball this week and to talk further about this, she was joined by Dr Sarahjane Belton, Lecturer in Physical Education at the School of Health and Human Performance at DCU.

She also spoke to Rose Anne Kenny, Professor of Medical Gerontology at St. James's Hospital and Director of the new Mercer’s Institute for Successful Ageing, about how our older population are also feeling the impact of a long-lockdown, and what to do to help them.

If you are having feelings of depression and anxiety, free call Pieta House on 1800 247 247.
