Gino Kenny, People Before Profit TD for Dublin Mid-West and James Lawless, Fianna Fáil TD for Kildare North and Chair of Oireachtas Joint Committee on Justice joined Gavan this afternoon to discuss the Dying with Dignity Bill. The Bill has been on the Dáil agenda for the past five years. It was first introduced to the Dáil in 2015 by John Halligan former Independent TD for the Waterford constituency.
The Dying Dignity Bill is an Act to make provision for assistance in achieving a dignified and peaceful end of life to qualifying persons and related matters. The Justice Committee have found technical errors in the 11 page document.
